Michael Jackson’s Resurrection

Resurrection is the religious concept of the reunion of the spirit and the body of a dead person.

It may sound a little bit scary, however, Michael Jackson’s comeback is already here.

Just about 3 months before his death, the superstar Michael Jackson has announced that there is going to be a comeback gig at London's O2 Arena in July. Unfortunately, Michael Jackson can’t perform on that stage anymore because of the tragedy of his death.

On Jun, 26th, 2009, the day the King of Pop died. In life, he cranked out 14 No. 1 singles and had five albums rank among the highest-selling of all time. And in death, he resumed his chart-topping ways as fans loaded up on Jackson's hits. Immediately after his death, it sent sales of his songs, albums and videos skyrocketing at online outlets and music stores.

On iTunes, Jackson claimed the top five spots among most the downloaded albums.

On Amazon.com, Jackson’s CDs were sold out in minutes and it could take weeks to get more.

At a F.Y.E. store on Myrtle Ave, Ridgewood(New York), the last of 40 Jackson compact discs was swept off the shelves by noon.

3 days after he left this planet, Michael Jackson now announced his comeback. Still camouflaged as a bad taste rumor, it is said there would be a new release because Michael Jackson has recorded up to 100 songs secretly before his death and they are only allowed to release after his death for his children. The new song would combine different aspects of Jackson`s life. It would be not just a new song, but also a resurrection of historical Jackson tunes.
According to some marketers, the whole story would fit perfectly to the orchestration of his death. The video is a remake of the “Thriller” video, combined with the “Bad” lyrics. Jackson, dancing as a zombie, just being resurrected like Jesus after 3 days.

Some of the lyrics are exposed below:

Because I’m back (back-back), I’m back, come on (really, really back)
You know I’m back (back-back), I’m back, you know it (really, really back)
You know I’m back (back-back), I’m back, you know it (really, really back) you know
And the whole world has no answer right now
Just to smell you once again

Michael Jackson might be rich again because of his death, however, he owes a lot of debt too. Just hope his children will not suffer.

Anyway, welcome back, Mike, no matter you are with us in person or not!

Michael Jackson’s Face History

Michael Jackson was such a great music genius who had many long lists of No.1 singles, No.1 best-selling albums and 197 awards for his music achievements and his humanitarian endeavors.

However, I’m afraid the surgeries list he had on his face perhaps had the same length as his glorious music achievements list. And definitely, that is another big topic of our King of Pop.

Let’s have a look at Michael Jackson’s face history chronologically:

1979, age 21: a cute and “normal” African-American guy, his father nicknamed him “Big Nose”.

1984, age 26: Michael Jackson got his nose slightly narrowed and his eyebrows shaped. Some comments said he was having a problem with his African-American look and making his nose whiter.

1985, age 27: another nose-narrow job was done and permanent eyeliner tattooed around his eyes.

1987, age 29: people and press were really talking about his appearance now. He got his nose done again and his skin has gone from the beautiful cocoa bronze to fish belly white. He was said to take female hormones to remove his facial hair and keep his boy-pitch voice.

1991, age 32: His skin was getting lighter, eyebrows were whittled down. He now had an interesting, manly cleft in his chin and a dropped, square jawline. He got his nose done again and got a skin disease too.

1993, age 34: Reportedly the tip of his nose was so damaged from the operations that the tissue has died, and he's now wearing a fake prothesis tip.

1997, age 38: Michael Jackson got a fake chin implant and suddenly lost his cleft chin, the sides of his face were stretched taut, his nose wasn’t pointing North anymore. And his face was done again.

1999, age 41: he had a new chin, new nose, new cheeks and new jaw again.

2000, age 41: he got a longer jaw and with Goatee! He got his eyes pulled so tight he looks Oriental and he got his lips done too.

2001, age 42: fake-nose-tip-prothesis hanging off as well as the scars. The thin little beak nose of 1997 seemed to have expanded once again.

Jan, 2002, age 43: he's had his nose fixed as it was reported in the news it seemed a bridge was built to widen the nasal passages.

Oct, 2002, age 44: a “third nostril" appeared after the January plastic surgery.

Nov, 2002, age 44: Michael Jackson wore a surgical mask when entering and leaving the courthouse because of a $21 million suit filed by his longtime promoter, Marcel Avram.

Sep, 2004, age 46: Michael Jackson got a new nose once again and again.

Everybody wants to be pretty and everybody has the right to be pretty if that can make you feel better and confident. And I’m pretty sure that Michael Jackson is not the only one who had plastic surgeries during their entertainment careers.

Recently the plastic surgeries do become a hot topic again because a lot of celebrities and pop stars in Hollywood and South Korea proudly admit that they had plastic surgeries or having plastic surgeries or going to have plastic surgeries. And it’s true a lot of stars, even the common people’s destiny gets changed forever because of the new pretty faces.

However, every coin had two sides. And I don’t want to use Michael Jackson’s case as an example to illustrate either cause maybe that’s another way to make this legendary icon everlasting!

Ps: to those who want to be pretty, just don’t sacrifice your health and to Michael Jackson, we still love you very much no matter what! Rest in peace!

Michael Jackson’s Moonwalk

The moonwalk or backslide is a dance technique that presents the illusion that the dancer is stepping forward while actually moving backward. It gives the appearance of a person moving along a conveyor belt.

The dance move gained widespread popularity after being performed by Michael Jackson during his song "Billie Jean" on the March 25, 1983, he performed live on the Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever television special, both with The Jackson 5 and on his own singing "Billie Jean". Debuting his signature dance move—the moonwalk —his performances during the event were seen by 47 million viewers during its initial airing, and drew comparisons to Elvis Presley’s and the The Beatles’ appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show. The New York Times said, “The moonwalk that he made famous is an apt metaphor for his dance style. How does he do it? As a technician, he is a great illusionist, a genuine mime. His ability to keep one leg straight as he glides while the other bends and seems to walk requires perfect timing". Forever and was considered his signature move. The moonwalk has since become one of the best known dance moves in the world.

The move commonly referred to as the moonwalk today was originally known as the backslide or "walking on your toes". The move was made famous by dancer Michael Jackson. The moonwalk was the name of another dance now known as the "circle moonwalk". The step has two distinct types. One is called the turn walk. This is usually performed very quickly giving the impression that the dancer is walking quickly in a circle. The other circular moonwalk type is known as the 360 or Four-Corner Moonwalk and is often done much more slowly in a floating style. This involves sliding a heel back (usually the left heel), pivoting both heels to change direction, and then pivoting the non-sliding heel 45 degrees. Other moonwalk variants include the "sidewalk" or "side glide", in which the dancer appears to glide sideways, and the "spotwalk", in which the dancer appears to moonwalk in place.

The video below shows the signature dance-moonwalk of Michael Jackson. Watch it now!

Michael Jackson’s Life and Musical Career:

1958–1975: Early life and The Jackson 5

On August 29, 1958, Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana (an industrial suburb of Chicago, Illinois) to a working-class family. The son of Joseph Walter "Joe" Jackson and Katherine Esther, he was the seventh of nine children. His siblings are Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, La Toya, Marlon, Randy and Janet .

In 1964, Jackson and Marlon joined the Jackson Brothers — a band formed by brothers Jackie, Tito and Jermaine — as backup musicians playing congas and tambourine, respectively. Jackson later began performing backup vocals and dancing; at the age of eight, he and Jermaine assumed lead vocals, and the group's name was changed to The Jackson 5. The band toured the Midwest extensively from 1966 to 1968.

In 1966, they won a major local talent show with renditions of Motown hits and James Brown's "I Got You (I Feel Good)", led by Michael.

In 1967 and 1968, the Jackson 5 recorded several songs, including "Big Boy", for the local record label Steeltown and signed with Motown Records.

Starting in 1972, Jackson released a total of four solo studio albums with Motown, among them Got to Be There and Ben. These were released as part of the Jackson 5 franchise, and produced successful singles such as "Got to Be There", "Ben" and a remake of Bobby Day's "Rockin' Robin".

In 1973, the group's sales began declining, and the band members chafed under Motown's strict refusal to allow them creative control or input. Although the group scored several top 40 hits, including the top 5 disco single "Dancing Machine" and the top 20 hit "I Am Love", in 1975, the Jackson 5 left Motown.

1975–1981: Move to Epic and Off the Wall

In June 1975, the Jackson 5 signed a new contract with CBS Records, joining the Philadelphia International Records division, later Epic Records.

In 1979, Jackson broke his nose during a complex dance routine. His subsequent rhinoplasty surgery was not a complete success; he complained of breathing difficulties that would affect his career. He was referred to Dr. Steven Hoefflin, who performed Jackson's second rhinoplasty and other subsequent operations.

In 1979, the solo album Off the Wall was released. It was the first album to generate four US top 10 hits and reach number on the Billboard 200.

In1980, Jackson won three awards at the American Music Awards for his solo efforts, and that year, he also won Billboard Music Awards for Top Black Artist and Top Black Album and a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.

1982–1985: Thriller, Motown 25, We Are the World and business career

In 1982, Michael Jackson’s second album Thriller was released. This album remained in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 for 80 consecutive weeks, 37 at the peak. Seven singles from Thriller concurrently hit the Billboard Hot 100 top 10. Thriller went on to sell upwards of 109 million copies, making it the best-selling album of all time.

On March 25, 1983, Jackson performed live on the Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever television special, both with The Jackson 5 and on his own singing "Billie Jean".

On January 27, 1984, Jackson suffered a setback. While filming a Pepsi Cola commercial at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Jackson suffered second degree burns to his scalp after pyrotechnics accidentally set his hair on fire.

On May 14, 1984, Jackson was invited to the White House to receive an award presented by U.S. President Ronald Reagan. The award was given for Jackson's support of charities that helped people overcome alcohol and drug abuse. Jackson won eight awards during the 1984 Grammys.

1986–1990: Tabloids, appearance, Bad, autobiography and films

In the mid-1980s, Jackson was diagnosed with vitiligo and lupus; the latter was in remission in Jackson's case, and both illnesses made him sensitive to sunlight

In 1987, the third album Bad was released. Bad had lower sales than Thriller, but was still a substantial commercial success. The Bad World Tour began on September 12, 1987, and finished on January 14, 1989.

In 1988, Jackson released his first autobiography, Moon Walk, which took four years to complete. Jackson told of his childhood, his experience in The Jackson 5 and the abuse he suffered as a child.

In 1989, Jackson's success resulted in his being dubbed the "King of Pop", a nickname conceived by actress and friend Elizabeth Taylor when she presented Jackson with an "Artist of the Decade" award.

From 1985 to 1990, Jackson donated $500,000 to the United Negro College Fund, and all of the profits from his single "Man in the Mirror" went to charity.

1991–1993: Dangerous and Super Bowl XXVII

In 1991, the fourth album Dangerous was released. It is the most successful New Jack Swing album of all time. “Black or White”, “Remember the Time” and “Heal the World” are the three biggest hits in this album.

In 1992, Jackson founded the "Heal the World Foundation". At the same time, the Dangerous World Tour began on June 27, 1992, and finished on November 11, 1993. Jackson performed to 3.5 million people in 67 concerts. All profits from the concerts went to the "Heal the World Foundation", raising millions of dollars in relief.

One of Jackson's most acclaimed performances came during the halftime show at Super Bowl XXVII(Super Bowl XXVII was an American football game played on January 31, 1993 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion following the 1992 regular season.)

1993–1994: Sexual abuse accusations and marriage

In February 1993, Jackson gave a 90-minute interview with Oprah Winfrey, his first television interview since 1979. He grimaced when speaking of his childhood abuse at the hands of his father; he believed he had missed out on much of his childhood years, admitting that he often cried from loneliness.

Jackson was accused of child sexual abuse by a 13-year-old child named Jordan Chandler and his father Evan Chandler. Jackson's image took a further turn for the worse when his older sister La Toya Jackson accused him of being a pedophile, a statement she later retracted.

By the fall of 1993, Jackson began taking painkillers, Valium, Xanax and Ativan to deal with the stress of the allegations made against him and he was addicted to the drugs.

On January 1, 1994, Jackson settled with the Chandler family and their legal team out of court, in a civil lawsuit for $22 million. After the settlement Jordan Chandler refused to continue with Police criminal proceedings. Jackson was never charged, and the state closed its criminal investigation, citing lack of evidence.

In May of 1994, Jackson married singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley. They had first met in 1975 during one of Jackson's family engagements at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, and were reconnected through a mutual friend in early 1993. Jackson and Presley divorced less than two years later, remaining friendly.

1995–1999: HIStory, second marriage and fatherhood

In 1995, Jackson released the double album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I. The first disc, HIStory Begins, was a 15-track greatest hits album, and was later reissued as Greatest Hits — HIStory Vol. I in 2001, the second disc, HIStory Continues, contained 15 new songs. It is the best-selling multiple-disc album of all-time, with 20 million copies (40 million units) sold worldwide. HIStory received a Grammy nomination for best album.

In early 1996, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) issued a press release charging Jackson with antisemitism regarding lyrics in the song "They Don't Care About Us", the fourth single from HIStory. The dispute over the lyrics upset long-time Jackson friend Steven Spielberg, who considered the song anti-semitic.

The HIStory World Tour began on September 7, 1996, and finished on October 15, 1997. Jackson performed 82 concerts in 58 cities to over 4.5 million fans.

In 1997, Jackson released Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix, which contained remixes of hit singles from HIStory and five new songs.

Throughout June 1999, Jackson was involved in a number of charitable events.

2000–2002: Label dispute, Invincible and third child

In 2000, Jackson was listed in the book of Guinness World Records for his support of 39 charities, more than any other entertainer or personality.

In October 2001, Jackson released a new album Invincible. Invincible was a commercial success, debuting atop the charts in 13 countries and going on to sell approximately 10 million copies worldwide. It received double-platinum certification in the US. However, the sales for Invincible were notably low compared to his previous releases, due in part to a diminishing pop music industry, the lack of promotion, no supporting world tour and the label dispute.

In 2002, Jackson's third child, Prince Michael Jackson II (also known as Blanket) was born though the mother's identity was never released by Jackson, but he has said the child was the result of artificial insemination from a surrogate mother and his own sperm cells.

2003–2007: Documentary, trial and business ventures

In 2003, Sony put out a compilation of Jackson's hits on CD and DVD. In the US, the album peaked at number 13 and was certified platinum by the RIAA.

In 2006, reports of financial problems for Jackson became frequent after the closure of the main house on the Neverland Ranch as a cost-cutting measure.

In November 2006, Jackson gave the first documented public appearances since his trial in London office of the Guinness World Records.

In 2007, Jackson and Sony bought Famous Music LLC from Viacom.

2008–2009: Milestones, real estate, planned return to live performance

In November 21, 2008, news tabloids published that Jackson converted to Islam while in Los Angeles at the home of Steve Porcaro with British music star, Cat Stevens (now Yusuf Islam), and changed his name to 'Mikaeel', these however have not been confirmed by Jackson himself.

On March 05, 2009, Jackson had been scheduled to perform 50 sold-out concerts to over one million people, at London's O2 arena, from July 13, 2009, to March 6, 2010.

Death

On June 25, 2009, Jackson collapsed at a rented home on North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles. Less than four months before Jackson's death, one of his biographers, Ian Halperin, revealed that Jackson had a secret library of over 100 unreleased songs which he planned to have released after his death to support his children.

Comparison of Moyea SWF to Video Std/Pro & Moyea SWF to MPEG

As one of our featured products, Moyea SWF to Video series deserves more attention.

Previously i have posted their tutorials respectively and today we will focus on the comparison between the two and hope the following chart can help.

Moyea SWF to Video Converter Pro is the updated version of Moyea SWF to Video Converter Std, except all the basic functions that std has, this pro version also has some extra functions like it can convert SWF to Video in any popular formats with alpha; it can crop video to the exact size that the users want and it can even add an image and text watermark on the finished video. This Moyea SWF to Video Converter Pro is definitely a very useful software for those high-level video fans who are capable to edit videos for a better effect.

Meanwhile, Moyea SWF to MPEG Converter focuses on MPEG for DVD/VCD/ SVCD more than the other two. It’s good enough too and with a more reasonable price if you only want to convert SWF to MPEG files.

No matter what your need is and no matter which product you choose, Moyea will always guarantee you the best quality and the best service.

SWF Family: Moyea SWF to Video Converter Std

Another new day in another week! How are you guys doing? Hope you all had a nice weekend and all are fully charged now for the new week’s work.

As a video fan, I’ll always try to find some topics and share with you.

Previously I have introduced how to download SWF files with Moyea Flash Download which is a free attached downloader in Moyea SWF to Video Converter Pro. And then how to convert SWF files to other video, audio and image formats with the above-mentioned Moyea SWF to Video Converter Pro.

In Moyea SWF to Video Converter family, there is also another counterpart called Moyea SWF to Video Converter Std and that’s our topic today.

In general, Moyea SWF to Video Converter Std has all the functions that Pro does: it can convert SWF files to many other video formats like AVI, MPEG, MOV, FLV, 3GP movie (3GPP/3GPP2), MP4 (iPod video, iPhone video and PSP movie), WMV (Zune movie and Pocket PC movie), audio formats like MP3 and image formats like Animated GIF, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, BMP, etc. However, you have to be aware that “to convert SWF to Video with alpha” and “to Crop Video” is NOT available in Moyea SWF to Video Converter Std and that’s the only difference between the two.

Ok, then let’s have a look at the tutorial below on how to convert SWF to Video with Moyea SWF to Video Converter Std.

Step 1: Simply click here to download Moyea SWF to Video Converter Std, click "Browse" and then choose “From Folder” from the drop-down menu to input SWF files.

Note 1: Please refer to my previous blog “How to download SWF files?” to see how to input SWF files by “Grab SWF” and “From IE cache”.

Note 2: The first time you open Moyea SWF to Video Converter Std, the default conversion mode is "Single Mode", if you have many files to convert, it is recommended to choose "Switch to batch mode" on the top left.

Step 2: After inputting, you will find the properties of input source file on the right panel.

a. Click "Original" to choose a background color.

b. Click "Capture" to capture your favorite pictures while playing video and then click "Open" to open the folder where the captured pictures are saved automatically.

Step 3: Click "Export" tab to set the parameters for outputting.

a. Choose to generate video.

1. Select a style, profile and destination folder. Click" Settings" for advanced settings and check the box before "Rip Audio" to save the background music in another separate folder.

2. Select a Conversion Mode: There are two conversion modes: Manual or Always forward. Select "Manual", you can interact in the conversion process by setting the capture starting and ending points. Click" What's this, No see, no gain!", a window will pop up and give you more information about manual conversion mode. Select "Always forward", you can't interact in the conversion process, and the program always captures forward the SWF file, it is helpful for Flash Game which interacts with people.

3. Capture Settings: Check " Auto end capture at the last frame", the program will stop capturing at the last frame automatically, this is activated automatically when you have chosen "Always forward" conversion mode.

Check "No performance testing" to set the speed, or just keep the default 1.0. If you change the default value, "Mute while capturing" will be activated automatically.

Check "Mute while capturing", then it will be silent when capturing.

Advanced settings for video.

b. Choose to generate image series.

Advanced settings for image series.

Step 4: Click "Convert" tab then there will be an interface for your conversion where you can see several buttons including "Option", "Play and Capture", "Play Movie", "Start Capture", "Snapshot" and "Finish".

Hit on "Option" button, there are two choices: Performance testing and Stopped frame.

Click "Performance testing", interface below for you to set the working folder will pop up. Set the working folder or just keep the default. To guarantee an accurate result, you are suggested to interact with the flash when it asks you to.

Click" Next>>", a bar showing the progress of performance testing appears. After the performance testing is finished, the interface below for you to set the screen capturing speed pops up. Set the speed, or just keep the default. Check the "Mute while capture" box for silent capture. Click "OK"to finish the testing.

Click "Stopped frame", the interface below will pop up. Check "Stop at this frame" and set the frame, then the program will stop capturing at this frame.

Play and Capture: click this button, the SWF file will be played. Meanwhile, the program captures the files.

Play Movie: Click this button, the SWF file will be played while not being captured.

Start Capture: This button is available when there is SWF file being played. If you want to convert part of the SWF file, you can click this button when it comes to the specified part.

Snapshot: Click this button, you can capture the specific picture.

Finish: Click this button to stop capturing. After finishing capture, the program starts encoding process. Confirm the "Conversion Success" and the output folder will pop up automatically. Now it's the time to enjoy.

So far, the above instructions are all about single mode conversion, and this converter can also convert files in batch mode way which will definitely saves a lot of time and energy for you. Below are the illustrations on how to batch-convert files.

Step 1: Open Moyea SWF to Video Converter Std and then click "Switch to batch mode" on the top left to switch to batch conversion mode.

Step 2: Click "Add" to input SWF files and double click each file's name to have a preview on the right screen. Click "Check All" to select all the files that to be converted.

Note 1: As batch mode is default with the automatic conversion mode, some of the interactive or AScript controlled flashes with few frames may not be processed perfectly. It is recommended to shift this kind of files to "Single Mode" to convert under "Manual Mode" for a better result.

Note 2: In batch mode conversion, the water mark set will be added to all SWF files automatically.

Step 3: The same as Single Mode, click "Capture" and "Open" to capture pictures and then open the destination folder where the pictures are saved.

Step 4. Click "Export" for output settings.

All are the same as the "Single Mode", except that you don't have to select conversion mode as well as capture settings, because batch mode is default with "always forward conversion", performance testing is played and the capture is silent by default, moreover, the program stops capturing at the end frame by default too.

Step 5. Click “Convert”, then the program will start to test the screen capturing speed, and encode one by one. Through this process, you can only set the end frame of each file by clicking the "Finish" button in the bottom toolbar.

Confirm the "Conversion completed" and now it's time to enjoy.

No matter you choose Pro or Std, we will always provide you with the best quality and the unforgettable experience.

Moyea, always gives you exactly what you want!
